Stranded in Western Kansas. LOL

Well it looks like we could be here awhile.  It started with freezing rain yesterday then turned over to snow about 3AM.  Well it has snowed about 10 inches and they think it might get to 20 inches by tom.  There isn’t to many people around to plow the roads. LOL  So my father-in-law will be getting the tractor out after awhile to dig us out.  Have you found McDonald Kansas on a map yet?  LOL  Life is so much slower out here it is nice.  Like I said before it gives us a chance to hang out as a family more.  I made a sweet snow igloo that 3 people can fit into.  I always wanted to do that when I was a kid.  I think God is giving me a little rest before something big happens.  I cherish these moments.

I hope this message finds you well.  I hope to update blog with video and such when I get back.  I have 2 advertisers to get there stuff together and put on Winnie.  I can’t wait.

Send me an email or something it’s been very quiet this week.  Is there anyone out there????

later,

Todd

It’s another great day!

This AM I was able to read a book I have received for Christmas.  It has been nice to get out here to western Kansas and away from my business and cell phones.  Yesterday we went tubing again out in the pasture.  Came back to have hot chocolate and a good soup.  I think I needed this little break to be refreshed.  I realize that life sometimes steals my time away from my kids.

Raising girls it’s important to spend time with them.  I think I screw that up more then I get it right.  Why is it we let life do that to us?  My wife and girls mean the most to me and yet as a husband and father I can be so easily distracted. I know I come home from a discouraging day and having someone there to support me is so comforting.  I think that’s why I am so willing to do crazy things because I know they love and support anything I can throw at them.  HERE is where I mess up.  I don’t look to see the crazy things they might want to achieve.  OR I do see what they want to do and maybe I don’t give it my full attention.  I see these things and know that is not the person I want to be remembered for.  You know when we look back on my life I want to be the man that was there to help them achieve whatever God has placed on their hearts to do.

I think that will be added to my Dream List so I can remember it everyday.  I’m a man so if I don’t put it in front of my face everyday I will forget. LOL  Yea I have been given that gift of forgetting. LOL  You see the Dream List is more then just things it’s a List of Life.  What is it that you want for this short time given to you on this earth? So you can add to it as you grow.  Take care everyone I will be back to update with videos soon.

Learning as I grow,  Todd

Just a quick note.

I’m still alive out here in western Kansas.  Get out a map I’m out in Colby, Kansas right at the moment heading back to McDonald Kansas.  You can do like a where is the Penny Guy game. LOL  The internet is down in McDonald at the moment so I hope to do updates later.  I shot some great video of me sledding down a big hill.  You will enjoy that.  I will be updating the Ebay auction at the beginning of next week.  I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas.

Take care,

Todd

A New Year is on the Horizon.

Yea a new year is just on the Horizon and what is it that you will make a resolution to do?  Every year we hear the same thing. Weight, payoff bills, travel, go to church, etc….

What will you say?  Will you go through the effort to write them down?  Will you look at them everyday?  Will you COMMIT!!!??  Now that is the question.  Unfortunatly we won’t commit.  God has given us all the tools and gives us help if we would just Listen and commit. He wants us to have all that He has planned for us.  He made this big earth for us.  The beauty the experiences the joy and the sorrow.  It was all made for us.  Now that is crazy to think about.  Even to think about Christmas.  He sent His Son down to even help with our sins.  He did it for us.  So what holds us back?  Lack of guidence and fear of failure.  What will my friends think or complete strangers?

I think back on Noah and laugh.  That dude was given a God Sized Dream.  It’s like God saying to me you need to build a big boat in the middle of Kansas. Now you don’t have everything need, but it’s my will and it will be taken care of.  Oh yea you are going to be made fun of for the next few years, but stay the course.  Hey God I don’t know how to build a boat!!  Oh don’t worry the plans they will come.  So I started building the boat for the next few years little by little thinking it will never end.  Along the way I have ups and downs, but one day God says I will take care of the rest and it all comes together.  The next thing I know I have animals waiting to climb on board.  There wasn’t too many people laughing when the rains came.

This year it’s time to listen.  I know where I’m going this next year. Jay Leno. LOL What my fear is what am suppose to say? Why am I going?  Hey Todd what’s with the 1972 Winnebago?  Don’t get me wrong I’m having the time of my life, but I also know there is a bigger picture and I don’t want to mess it up.  I pray you ask for your direction this next year.  One more thing I ask for your prayers, because as fun as it will be there will be a trial around the corner.  I will make this promise that I will share the experience with you.

Take care and I look forward to sharing more later,

Merry Christmas,

Todd

Update an Email that came in.

An awesome email that came in. INSANE JOE!!! Awesome!! UPDATE:  I talked to Joe on the phone for about 45 minutes and he seems like someone I would like to meet.  He offered to take me on a sailing outing out around Alcathaz.  Now that would be cool.  I have been so blessed to meet so many of you and the Dreams you have shared.  All starting with a penny. LOL  It just goes to show you it’s the little things that make the difference!  Talk to you soon.

I guess the blog is going through some changes.

Haven’t figured out what the Bog is doing right now.  I guess they are upgrading some things.  I hope to set things up better when they get things under control.  Oh well it’s just one more thing to work around.  I will do update in AM. Sleep tight.

Winnie needed to get out and about for a bit.

Well I needed to get Winnie out for a little drive today.
Winnie sat for about a week and I thought I better keep the battery charged the phone call could come any day for something. LOL  What I don’t know.  I really enjoy driving Winnie around.  The people pulling up beside and pointing is fun.  I can only imagine what it will be like when Winnie starts getting all kinds of logos. LOL  Yea that will be awesome!!  I thought you might enjoy a little video.  I took Winnie around the town where I did most of my growing up Sping Hill, Kansas.  Yea I never thought the same roads I rode my bike on I would driving a 1972 Winnebago on 23 years later.  LOL  Going down memory lane can be fun.  Take care and I hope to have some great news real soon.
