One Lucky Penny

     Well it’s my first full day since my wife left to see her mother.  It looks like I’m going to be taking the kids treating.  I haven’t come up with an outfit yet, but I’m working on it!  The youngest one is eating donuts for breakfast.  Nothing like starting them off with a surgar rush before school.  I’m excited about a great day of painting. Ok I’m a little off on the excited part. 

    What’s going on with the car Todd?  Well I wish I could tell you.  I think Bob might have changed his mind.  I tried calling and emailing him over the weekend to tell him what was going on but he must be busy.  Since the family thing I wouldn’t be able to get to Denver until next weekend or so.  I did get a trade offer in for 7 days in the mountains on a lake in a cabin.  Pictures are really pretty.  Man, but a Cadillac is where my heart is.  So a little disappointment and off I go again.  I use these times to know something bigger is around the corner.  

    The Dream book has some other entries so that is really cool.  If you ordered an entry please please get that back to me.  I am going to take the Dream Book on Deal or No Deal.  What how can I be sure I’m going to be on that show?  What? Are YOU crazy?  What better story than all of us going to the show?!  A Lucky Penny, A Dream Book with Dreamers and Jay Leno as one of my panel people.  Then after the show I take care of some bills go on Jay Leno and use money to help dreams come true.  Now who is crazy.  I sound very logical and it all fits together.  Oh yea I use the RV I’m going to get to drive to Deal or No Deal and Jay Leno.  Oh yea could one you guys tell Howie I’m coming.  I would like M&M’s back stage. LOL

    Well it looks like I’m not going to be going to Colorado this weekend.  My wife’s mother has become ill so whe will be gone to be by her side.  Nothing is more important than family.  So I will be Mr. Mom for a few days while she is gone.  I will try for next weekend.  Anyway it’s these little reality checks that keep us humble.  I’m sure everything will work out fine and prayers would be great.  

    I came up with some great ideas for my video for Deal or No Deal.  So now I’m excited to shoot the thing.  Maybe I they would have Jay Leno come on the show as one of the panel up on stage.  I saw one where they had Donald Trump so why not.  Also I think I’m going to ask for a $10 million top prize.  I will need a lot to help with some of your dreams in the book.  I mean Alice wants to have horses and some land.  That will take a little bit. LOL

    Well it has been quiet the last couple of days.  So that is about all I can say.  I’m working on something funny that i can’t reveal yet.  I had a brain storm while I was on the ladder painting.  So you wil have to wait until it is ready.    So what is new in all of your world.  Don’t be afraid to fill me in. 

         OH ! I just thought of something.  With this video thing I’m doing I can have a LIVE Video webcast.  SOOOO  I’m trying to think what my first TV show should be about.  I’m thinking maybe some special guests. LOL  I will let all of you know the link when I can put some kind of plan together.  I think it ought to be fun.

     It’s another week!  I said to myself as I JUMPED out of bed this AM!!  I know, I know we are all this excited on Mondays.  LOL  Come on it’s 29 degrees outside here is KC and I’m going to paint outside today. (When it warms up)  The funny part is shouldn’t we be excited everyday to get going?  I think we lose that looking forward to something in our everyday life.  It’s just so blah that we are waiting for something to happen to be excited.  I get sick of that part.  SO everyday I try to create a little excitement.  It might be emailing Oprah, or looking at some new business opportunity in a magazine, or looking at parts to fix up my truck.  JUST SOMETHING.  One small step to something on my Dream List or Goal Sheet whatever you want to call it.  I look for different movies casting in Kansas City to see if I can run and audition on a whim.

    Right now I can’t wait to get off of work and run home and check emails for Lucky Penny stuff.  See what questions you might have, who and where I’m sending out a Dream Entries, what trade offers might have come in.  I think we are to be excited about everyday.  I KNOW it’s hard.  But I try and make an effort everyday. Don’t you ever ask yourself WHY am I here?  I found my answer, but have you?  NO I’m not going to tell you just yet.  But I can tell you that this life right now this very second you are reading this you were meant to do something everyday. THAT is a cool thought.  WE were not put here on this earth to be bored and WAITING for something to happen.  We were created to DO.  So what are you DOING?  I know raising kids, working, running kids to here and there, life is busy.  That isn’t what I’m talking about.  What is it that you were created to do?  The purpose.  Tough one I know but it’s one we ALL must find the answer to.

    People tell me I’m crazy all the time.  Am I?  Maybe I have an agenda.  I take very serious the people I meet and talk to everyday.  I could affect their life.  Whether it is good or bad is my hands.  How many people will you talk to today?  Me?  About 200 and you reading this happen to be one of them. LOL  Yea it’s Monday but the fun I’m going to have today is going to be great.  Wait until you read some of my God sized dreams in later posts.  I’m 36 and don’t know if I have enough time on this planet to get them done.  You know the funny part is if their were enough people to support you or me in some crazy dream it would no longer be a dream it would be reality!!!  Take care of those around you today and just Listen.

      Well it’s Sat. and I’m heading off to work this great AM.  I wish I could say I was really excited. LOL  Looks like I will be heading out to Denver next weekend to pick up the car.  The road trip will be fun.  I haven’t done one of those by myself for a long time.  I think it will give me time to think.  Quiet time.  Isn’t that what we usually do with our kids to clam them down?  It seems I always am running so just me in a car for 10 hours should be a good chance to focus a little.  I think sometimes we are afraid of that quiet time because thoughts of things we should think about rise to the top.

    I think the computer auction ends tom. so I might start the new auction with the car.  That way I won’t lose anyone following along. Kind of what I did with the computer.  Then when I get the car back to KC I can post more pictures of the trip and the car itself.  Still no word from Jay Leno’s show, but I will keep going half the fun is the journey.  I can’t wait to trade for a RV. LOL   I think as a side note I’m going to audition for Deal or NO DEAL!  

    I think the Dream Book and everyone it could be in the audience.  Maybe I could make enough money to make some of the dreams possible.  Plus what better luck for being on the show is the Lucky Penny.  I could have Dustin bring it to the show. LOL  Hey and Dustin then I could get you court side seats for the Suns!!  Yea I think it would be fun to submit the application just for fun as we continue the trades and work on getting to Jay Leno.  Maybe I could get Jay Leno to be one of the people over to the side!  Oh Yea now I’m on a roll.  

 Alright have to go and work now.  I will fill you in on the audition later.  We will see how it turns out.

   I gentleman named Bob possibly offered me a Cadillac!!  1988  I’m waiting for details to see if it works out.  DUDE it’s NICE.  i will give all the details if things come together.  I’m so stinking excited I could pee my pants.  LOL  I will work on getting video up by tonight.  Gotta go back to work.  I am too excited to work.

Well my computer is acting up this AM. So I will try and post video soon.  I received an official trade offer for a car out by Denver.  A 1993 Chevy Cavelier.  Runs 197,000 miles some rust and minor repair.  So this is where you come in.  Email me your thoughts.  I think it sounds fair.  I might be able to trade the car for a RV?  Or do you think someone else will offer something different.  I have to make a decision very soon because he has 2 others offering him money and such.  

    I guess I would fly maybe to Denver and drive it home.  Anyway sorry so short have to go.  Email me what you think.

  You know everyone says you must wait and good things will happen.  Boy when did waiting do anybody any good. LOL  If you are like me no one likes to wait.  That is called character building.  LOL  Well that is just the way it’s going to be.  I think that maybe the waiting is part of the journey.  It’s in those moments where we have time to breath and reflect before we start running again. 

    It’s that show the Amazing Race.  They do nothing but run and are under all kinds of stress and then they get to the Pit Stop.  I bet they fall down from exhaustion.  That is kind of how we live our lives I think.  We are so busy running that we don’t stop to listen.  Dreams get shoved to back because there is no time.  The funny part is when we are older and retired we FINALLY stop and drop our bags and look around at the pit stop.  What? No one is here? I didn’t do the things I wanted or called to do?  I should have made that turn 20 years ago!  DUDE today stop running for like 15 minutes.

    I’m SO guilty of this.  I see it though and try and go around the road blocks.  Lord knows I’m not perfect. I sure could be a better husband, father and friend to a lot of people.  The funny thing is knowing and DOING are 2 different things!!

That’s where I’m at. Are You?  My favorite thing to do is before I walk into a store or church or where ever.  In the rain or on a nice sunny day.  I keep walking but I put my head back up at the sky and stretch my arms straight out.  For that One Moment I soak it in.  The rain on my face. The bright sun coming down.  It’s THOSE moments I say YEA I’m ALIVE! Dreams that is what I have been given. AND God you got my attention.  

    LOOK I don’t know what is going to happen next.  TODAY though give yourself like even 2 minutes to stand outside and look up at the sky.  I know it sounds stupid just DO IT!  I don’t care if it is raining or sunny where you are DO IT.

I bet you will have your own experience.  I can’t explain it.  It’s just being in that moment.  Sometimes that is what we need a small pit stop.  Maybe it will help you make the next turn in the road.  BUT Listen don’t talk or think LISTEN.

I am not much on learning new things, but my daughter Brittany wanted to help me out. I set up a myspace. it was generic and just had enough info. to have people come to this blog. Well Brittany wanted to jazz it up a bit so she taught me a couple things. I also learned there are a lot of people on my space sooooo i guess I need friends? I gues that is how it works. I hope it will help get the word out on what I’m doing even more.

SO I’m looking to have maybe a 1000 friends to start. I don’t know if that is a lot but it seems like a good round number. Well that is it. I am still pumped up on all that Dustin did for me on Wed. He took me everywhere. Getting down on the Cardinals football field was awesome. The day was filled with just some incredible things. Just getting on a plane to meet someone you don’t know, in a city you never have been in is an experience. That is what I call living. LOL It’s the adventure of not knowing that is so much fun. I hope you enjoyed that as well.

I hope there are many more chapters in this adventure to come. I really hope I can bring all of you along with me.

Can you believe I made it the top of Google!!  Yep type in One Lucky Penny and there is the Auction.  All within 30 days.  i have never been the top of anything. LOL  Life is funny I think.  Who knows what will come next.  Now if I can just get  a really good trade offer in.  I will be hopefully working on my audition tape to Jay Leno this week.  I will keep everyone up to date.  

The dream book is doing good.  If you haven’t put in an order please help me out.  I love reading the cards when they come in.  I think by the time this is all done the Dream Book will be awesome.   I never know where the next trade might come from, so traveling could become expensive. Plus when I get to a RV can you imagine the gas I will need to get to California? LOL  Now that is funny.  Ehh it’s out of my hands i’m just going along for the ride now. LOL

 Awesome!!  That’s all I can think of to sum up my week.  Keep telling everyone about the auction.  I could only achieve this with your help.  Then I hope can turn around and return the favor.
